Director – MES Practice Lead

About the role

Lead and scale the MES Services business for AVEVA's Global Delivery Center in India. Build a strong MES competency, drive delivery excellence, and improve margins through standardisation and templatisation while applying a people‑first leadership approach.

Key responsibilities

• Own the GDC MES practice roadmap aligned with global and regional strategy.
• Define and manage the practice operating model, including engagement, delivery readiness, resourcing and knowledge management.
• Lead large, multi‑site MES programs from the front, ensuring stakeholder alignment and execution rigor.
• Establish and enforce project governance, quality gates and consistent delivery standards across all MES projects.
• Build reusable assets such as playbooks, templates, accelerators and reference architectures to improve productivity and margins.
• Develop MES techno‑functional capability, skill matrices, learning paths and communities of practice.
• Coach and mentor practice leaders, architects and delivery teams to foster a high‑performing, people‑first culture.
• Engage with customers, support pre‑sales workshops and drive pipeline growth in partnership with sales.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in MES services with end‑to‑end delivery ownership.
• Proven track record leading large, multi‑geography MES programs and managing executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in improving margins through standardisation, templatisation and governance.
• Strong people‑management and coaching capabilities with a “people‑first” mindset.
• Experience building and scaling competencies, teams and delivery leaders.

Required skills

• MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) expertise.
• AV​EVA MES platform and related digital manufacturing ecosystem.
