Director, Human Resources

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to shape and execute an employee‑focused HR strategy for our India operations. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global TA & HR, you will lead the India Employee Success team and partner with local and global leaders to ensure seamless HR processes, policies, and programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives in collaboration with senior global and country leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Employee Success team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including performance reviews, salary planning, talent reviews, employee support programs, and employee relations.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing for all India employees and compliance with Indian labor laws, POSH, PF/ESI, and safety regulations.
• Partner with legal and leadership to monitor regulatory changes and adjust HR policies accordingly.
• Drive performance management and talent development initiatives, including leadership development programs and cohort training for new hires.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that bridges cultural nuances between India and the US.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Indian labor regulations and experience managing compliance risks.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor HR professionals.
• Demonstrated cultural awareness, especially between India and the US, to promote an inclusive workplace.
• Data‑driven decision‑making skills with the ability to analyze impact on the organization.
• Adaptability to evolving business needs, regulatory environments, and cultural dynamics.
