Director, Head of DevOps & Platform Engineering

About the role

Corporate Lending Technology is looking for an experienced Director to lead the modernization of its engineering platform across flagship lending products. This senior leadership role will define and execute the Target Operating Platform roadmap, build a centralized DevOps organization, and establish SRE practices to deliver cloud‑native, cloud‑agnostic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the DevOps strategy and Target Operating Platform roadmap for all lending products.
• Drive the shift to containerization, cloud‑native, and cloud‑agnostic architectures as the engineering baseline.
• Build, lead, and scale a centralized DevOps team delivering self‑service CI/CD frameworks.
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines, toolchains, and governance across the portfolio.
• Develop reusable pipeline templates, infrastructure modules, and deployment blueprints.
• Establish SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, observability standards, and incident response frameworks.
• Publish standardized client deployment patterns to reduce delivery risk.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing DevOps engineering team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale DevOps or Platform Engineering initiatives.
• Track record of building and scaling centralized engineering teams.
• Hands‑on technical authority capable of guiding architecture and tooling decisions.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, architecture, and executive stakeholders.
