Director, Data & Technology, Cybersecurity

About the role

VantaForce is seeking a Director to lead its Data & Technology Cybersecurity practice. The role focuses on incident response, digital forensics, and helping clients mitigate critical information security risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security incident investigations involving computer crimes, performing log, forensic, and malware analysis.
• Collect and analyze IDS alerts, firewall logs, network traffic, and host logs to detect unauthorized access or data exfiltration.
• Conduct forensic analyses to identify malware presence, capabilities, and actions.
• Perform investigations in Linux and Windows environments and provide clear findings to senior leadership.
• Prepare written and oral client communications for senior‑level review.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
• Hands‑on experience with incident response for OT, ICS, and IoT environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with legal counsel, senior management, and C‑suite clients.
• Strong organizational and note‑taking skills, with the capacity to build timeline analyses across multiple endpoints.
• Passion for incident response and continuous improvement.

• Intrusion detection system analysis.
