Director – Contract & Spend Analytics

About the role

PwC is seeking a Director to lead Contract & Spend Analytics engagements for its clients in Gurugram. The role will combine deep expertise in contract and spend data with strategic advisory to drive cost optimisation, revenue uplift and risk mitigation across procurement and commercial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end analytics projects covering data discovery, spend classification, contract abstraction and baseline development.
• Identify savings, maverick spend, contract leakage, pricing non‑compliance and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Develop business cases, implementation plans and value‑tracking mechanisms for identified initiatives.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on commercial governance, risk mitigation and revenue assurance.
• Manage delivery teams and ensure high‑quality outcomes across multiple engagements.

Required profile

• Approximately 12 years of experience in contract analytics, spend analytics, commercial analysis, procurement advisory or related transformation work.
• Background in a Big 4 consulting environment or comparable professional services firm.
• Proven ability to translate data insights into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to senior executives.
