Director, APAC HR Shared Services

About the role

The Director, APAC HR Shared Services will lead the delivery and transformation of HR shared services across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting into the global HR Shared Services organization, you will ensure a high‑quality employee experience through operational excellence, process improvement and technology adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR Shared Services delivery across APAC, covering HR Direct, Data Management, Talent Acquisition Operations, Learning Operations and in‑country HR support.
• Drive operational excellence via service management, process standardisation, continuous improvement and performance metrics.
• Develop and manage a geographically dispersed team, building capability and bench strength.
• Champion AI‑enabled and self‑service solutions to improve employee experience and efficiency.
• Identify automation opportunities to simplify and scale HR processes.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence and country HR teams to ensure compliant, reliable service delivery.
• Contribute to global HR Shared Services strategy, standards and transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading HR Shared Services or HR Operations in a complex, global environment, including multi‑country team leadership and transformation.
• Proven people leadership of sizeable teams across multiple locations and cultures.
• Strong track record in service management, process improvement, controls and data‑driven performance management.
• Experience driving organisational change, operating model evolution and service transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior HR and business leaders.
• Working knowledge of Workday and contact‑center/case‑management platforms.
