Direct Taxation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3‑7 years of experience to join our tax team. The role focuses on direct taxation, ensuring accurate tax provision, compliance and representation before tax authorities for global entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax submissions, represent the company before tax authorities.
• Handle India tax litigation at all levels.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of TDS/TCS provisions and DTAA.
• Compute and book current and deferred tax provisions quarterly for all global entities.
• Prepare tax schedules for balance‑sheet tax accounts and RPT documentation in coordination with finance teams.
• Collate, review and support CBCR filing.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to taxes.
• Prepare quarterly tax reports including advance tax, DTA/DTL working, tax provisioning and effective tax rate calculations.
• Manage annual income tax returns, certificates and identify tax incentives.
• Assist with tax due diligence for business acquisitions and support transaction structuring.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of Indian direct tax laws, litigation, and international tax agreements.
• Experience in preparing tax provisions, schedules and compliance documentation.
• Ability to work with finance teams and stay updated on tax regulatory changes.
