Direct Taxation Specialist – CA (4-6 yrs)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead end‑to‑end direct tax compliance for a fast‑growing quick‑service restaurant (QSR) group. The role involves managing corporate tax filings, assessments, and automation initiatives while ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns, quarterly TDS returns, and transfer pricing reports.
• Compute income tax, deferred tax, reconcile Form 26AS, and maintain depreciation schedules.
• Handle tax audits, scrutiny, and transfer pricing assessments, including drafting responses and coordinating with external consultants.
• Support SAP tax module enhancements, maintain vendor and TAN details, issue Form 16A and lower‑deduction certificates.
• Drive monthly tax closure, statutory reporting, and internal MIS reporting.
• Respond to statutory and internal audit queries and keep stakeholders updated on changes in direct tax legislation.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years of post‑qualification experience in direct taxation.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
