About the role
Trilegal is seeking a Direct Tax Lawyer at the Associate or Senior Associate level to join its Taxation practice in Delhi. The role involves providing expert advice on direct and corporate tax matters to a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies and high‑net‑worth individuals.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on direct tax and corporate tax issues.
- Draft legal opinions and appeals.
- Conduct tax due diligence for M&A and corporate transactions.
- Develop tax structuring and compliance strategies.
- Stay updated on tax laws, rulings, and regulatory changes.
Required profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience in a law firm or Big 4 consulting firm, focusing on taxation.
