Digital Marketing Strategist

About the role

Samudhrika Lakshana, a fast‑growing herbal personal care and wellness brand, is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to lead its end‑to‑end digital marketing function. This senior role will shape data‑driven strategies, drive AI adoption, and accelerate growth across D2C, marketplaces, and retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall digital marketing strategy, including annual, quarterly and monthly plans.
• Plan, launch and continuously optimise paid campaigns on Meta, Google, YouTube and other platforms to improve ROAS, reduce CAC and boost conversions.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, challenge recommendations with data, and conduct weekly performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the Brand Consultant and internal teams to translate brand strategy into measurable digital campaigns.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Canva AI for campaign planning, content creation and automation.
• Drive e‑commerce growth on Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces, improving the customer journey and AOV.
• Design and execute SEO and content strategies to increase organic traffic and rankings.
• Lead social media and community initiatives, monitoring trends and competitor activity.
• Oversee CRM channels (email, WhatsApp, SMS, loyalty) to enhance customer retention and repeat purchases.

• Proven experience leading performance‑marketing teams and managing agency partners.
• Data‑driven decision maker comfortable analysing KPIs and optimizing campaigns.
• Ability to translate brand vision into digital tactics and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Passion for emerging technologies, especially AI applications in marketing.
