Digital Engineering – Engineering Strategy & Transformation Lead

About the role

As an Engineering Strategy & Transformation Lead you will guide clients in aerospace, automotive and other discrete manufacturing sectors through digital engineering change. You will shape the future of product development, PLM, ALM and AI‑driven processes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on engineering transformation across PLM, ALM, Digital Twins, New Product Development and software‑driven initiatives.
• Design As‑Is and To‑Be state maps, ensuring readiness for Generative and Agentic AI integration.
• Identify and articulate opportunities for AI adoption within engineering workflows.
• Lead large‑scale transformation programs covering product development, R&D, manufacturing engineering and service lifecycle.
• Develop market insights, competitive benchmarks and thought‑leadership assets on Digital Twins, Agile PLM, MBSE, Simulation and sustainability.

Required profile

• Experience gathering requirements, designing processes and directing implementation for PLM/ALM platforms.
• Strong functional knowledge of at least one PLM suite (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE, SAP PLM).
• Facilitation of client workshops, stakeholder interviews and executive presentations.
• Ability to manage multicultural, multi‑geography teams with disciplined project management.
• Proficiency in leveraging enterprise data to enable engineering intelligence and data‑driven decisions.
