Diffusion Equipment Engineer – Semiconductor Fab

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Semiconductor Equipment Engineer with hands‑on experience in diffusion furnace equipment. The role focuses on supporting routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting within a fast‑paced production fab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tool fault recovery to minimize equipment downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to established procedures, ensuring on‑time completion and first‑time pass.
• Support routine equipment troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Monitor tool performance, respond to alarms and abnormal conditions, and help improve mean‑time‑between‑failures (MTBF).
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, faults, and corrective actions.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fab equipment maintenance.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑driven, positive attitude and a good team player.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with TEL Alpha 8 SE Waves.
• Hands‑on experience with ASM A400 Duo.
• Tool fault recovery and preventive maintenance.
• Equipment troubleshooting in a fab environment.
