About the role
Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Dialysis Technician to operate haemodialysis machines and provide safe, high‑quality treatment for patients with kidney failure. The role involves preparing equipment, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout each session.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate haemodialysis machines, attaching dialyzers and tubing, and priming circuits with 0.9% normal saline.
- Label dialyzers and blood lines with patient name and ID before first use.
- Prepare dialysis solutions and mix bicarbonate according to prescribed formulas.
- Explain the dialysis procedure and machine operation to patients to alleviate anxiety.
- Connect the haemodialysis machine to the patient’s access site and initiate treatment.
- Monitor the machine for any malfunction and intervene as needed.
- Maintain all log books, forms, and registers accurately.
