Dialysis Staff Nurse – Bardez, Goa

About the role

The Dialysis unit is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis in Bardez, Goa. The role involves monitoring patient vitals, managing treatment plans, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check and record patients' vital signs before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Prepare and update nursing care plans according to each patient’s clinical needs.
• Notify the treating consultant promptly of any deterioration in a patient’s condition.
• Assist in managing medical emergencies that may arise during dialysis.
• Administer prescribed medications, including anticoagulants, antibiotics, and blood pressure agents.
• Maintain inventory of medicines and equipment, including crash cart trolley, and complete shift‑wise checklists.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Handle all communications regarding patients, staff, and organizational matters confidentially.
• Participate in quality assurance, quality control, and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Perform any additional duties as required by work exigencies.

Required profile

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and possession of a valid ID card.
• Willingness to work duty hours as scheduled.
• Reporting to the In‑charge of Dialysis.
