Dialysis Staff Nurse – Bardez, Goa

About the role

The dialysis unit is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing haemodialysis in Bardez, Goa. You will work closely with the in‑charge of dialysis and the treating consultants to ensure high‑quality treatment and patient support.

Key responsibilities

• Check and record patients' vital signs before, during, and after dialysis sessions.
• Prepare and update nursing care plans according to each patient’s clinical needs.
• Notify the treating consultant promptly of any deterioration in a patient’s condition.
• Assist in managing medical emergencies that may arise during dialysis.
• Administer prescribed medications such as anticoagulants, antibiotics, and blood‑pressure drugs.
• Maintain inventory of medicines and equipment, including crash‑cart trolley, and complete shift‑wise checklists.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout treatment.
• Handle all patient‑related communication confidentially.
• Participate in quality assurance, quality control, and continuous quality improvement activities.

Required profile

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in dialysis or a related clinical setting.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and possession of a valid ID card.
• Willingness to work duty hours as scheduled.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
