DevOps Engineer (SDE 2) – AWS Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Jupiter is seeking a skilled SDE‑2 DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for its fast‑growing fintech platform. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure reliable, automated deployments and robust monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly available AWS environments.
• Automate provisioning, deployment and monitoring using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) for fast, reliable releases.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or CloudWatch.
• Enforce security best practices across IAM, VPC, network configurations and other AWS services.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive improvements in reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote a strong DevOps culture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar.
• Solid knowledge of container orchestration and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Ability to script and automate tasks (e.g., Bash, Python).
