DevOps Engineer

About the role

ProminentPixel is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available platforms for its global clients. The role bridges development and operations, ensuring smooth automated deployments and reliable cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls.
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and support resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimise release processes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Solid background in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
