DevOps Engineer – Business Analysis & Risk Consultant

About the role

This hybrid consultant position blends DevOps expertise with deep business analysis and risk evaluation for enterprise clients in the life and annuities insurance domain. You will work day‑shift hours, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed risk and analysis activities to identify exposure areas and propose mitigation strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Conduct functional analysis of business processes, ensuring system capabilities meet evolving operational and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare structured analysis and design documentation that converts business requirements into clear, implementable solutions.
• Execute ongoing business monitoring routines, track performance indicators, and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Lead business process reviews to map current workflows, eliminate redundancy, and improve efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and validate solutions using structured analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with technical and operations partners to ensure outcomes are cost‑effective and conform to enterprise architecture.
• Develop business cases, impact assessments, and support test planning with acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in risk and analysis activities, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Strong functional analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and specification of business rules.
• Ability to produce clear documentation, traceability matrices, and status updates for stakeholders.
• Experience working in the insurance sector, particularly life and annuities, is a plus.
