DevOps Engineer – Banking Applications

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 4‑6 years of experience to support and enhance enterprise applications in a banking environment. You will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks while ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart maintenance.
• Administer and monitor cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure scalability and performance.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, and banking‑specific compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives.
• Support deployments across Development, UAT, Pre‑Production, and Production environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 4‑6 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking security, compliance, audit requirements, and high‑availability architectures.
• Experience with core banking, digital banking, payments, or related platforms is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, CKA/CKAD, Terraform, DevOps) are preferred.
