Developer Community Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Community Manager to act as a trusted technical voice within open‑source and data‑engineering ecosystems. You will work remotely, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our tools are discussed authentically across developer platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, credible presence in developer communities and contribute to technical discussions rather than promotional messaging.
• Engage on platforms such as Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Discord, Stack Overflow, Medium, and GitHub around orchestration, data engineering, and infrastructure topics.
• Answer questions, share expertise, and build long‑term trust with engineers.
• Identify high‑impact communities and conversations where the product can add value.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to surface use cases, create explainers, and translate community feedback into actionable insights.
• Develop relationships with technical creators (bloggers, YouTubers, newsletter authors) in the data and infrastructure space.
• Leverage modern, AI‑assisted tools and social‑listening platforms to scale engagement while preserving technical accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of data pipelines, orchestration systems, and infrastructure tooling.
• Proven experience building or participating in influential developer communities.
• Deep familiarity with the dynamics of Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Discord, and similar ecosystems.
• Excellent written English; French is a plus.
• Creator mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and produce valuable technical content.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a highly asynchronous, remote‑first environment.
