Destination Specialist – Africa

About the role

We are seeking a Destination Specialist for Africa to join our Pune office. You will be responsible for managing product contracting, supplier coordination, and day‑to‑day maintenance of Africa‑focused travel products across B2B and B2C channels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with African suppliers for tours, attractions, transfers, guides, safari services, and related travel experiences.
• Collect and maintain accurate product data, including pricing, availability, descriptions, booking procedures, and seasonal changes.
• Support product contracting, rate comparisons, contract renewals, and promotional activities.
• Prepare customized itineraries and quotations for FIT, group, corporate, and B2B clients.
• Maintain supplier files, contracts, rate sheets, SOPs, and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with content, system, sales, reservations, and operations teams to ensure products are correctly loaded and ready for sale.
• Monitor product performance, pricing competitiveness, and supplier service levels.
• Identify new product opportunities and recommend portfolio enhancements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in travel, tourism, DMC, or related operations.
• Background in product management, contracting, or sales for African destinations.
• Strong knowledge of African attractions, tours, transfers, and itinerary planning.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially in pricing and product information.
• Effective communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.
