Destination Product Specialist – Africa (Pune)

About the role

We are seeking a Destination Product Specialist based in Pune to manage Africa‑focused travel products. The role involves contracting, supplier coordination, product maintenance, and preparing itineraries and quotations for B2B and B2C channels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers for tours, attractions, transfers, restaurants, guides, safari services and other travel‑related services.
• Collect and maintain supplier rates, contracts, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policies, child policies, blackout dates and payment terms.
• Ensure product information is accurate across internal systems and sales channels, supporting product contracting and day‑to‑day operations.
• Prepare customized itineraries and quotations for FIT, group, corporate and B2B clients.
• Maintain supplier files, contracts, rate sheets, booking instructions and product SOPs.
• Monitor product performance, pricing competitiveness and supplier service levels.
• Identify new product opportunities and recommend improvements to the destination portfolio.
• Support sales with product recommendations, package ideas and alternative options.

Required profile

• Prior experience in travel, tourism, DMC, tours, attractions or travel operations.
• Experience in product management, product contracting or sales for destinations/markets.
• Strong understanding of destination products, attractions, transfers, tours and itinerary planning.
• Professional coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail in pricing, product information and contractual terms.
