Desktop Support Technician – IT & Infrastructure Support

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to provide on‑premise IT assistance across its office sites. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, handling hardware, software and network issues while ensuring smooth operation of office infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile phone and peripheral problems on Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, de‑provision and replace corporate devices, following Ericsson’s asset management procedures.
• Perform basic installation, testing and maintenance of network equipment such as switches, routers, access points, firewalls, NAC and DNS.
• Support office IT services including printing, connectivity, voice, smart metering, digital signage and AV equipment.
• Coordinate with Level‑2 teams and external vendors for escalations, repairs and audits.
• Maintain accurate incident records and assist during internal/external compliance audits.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to guide end‑users through technical issues.
• Experience working in an office environment supporting a variety of operating systems and network devices.
• Good organizational skills for asset tracking, documentation and coordination with third‑party providers.
