Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite end‑user support, manage office IT infrastructure and oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with project‑based tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
• Provision, deploy, upgrade, replace and decommission hardware while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity issues and escalate complex incidents to Level 2 support.
• Maintain office IT services including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV and workplace technologies.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points and related network infrastructure.
• Assist with conference‑room technology, smart‑office solutions and digital signage.
• Conduct asset registration, labeling, imaging, tracking, warranty repairs and disposal in line with policy.
• Support office relocations, hardware refreshes, equipment deployments and other infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and provide remote‑hands assistance when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices and office peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
• Hands‑on experience with hardware deployment, asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote support teams and vendors.
