Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide first‑line IT assistance to our users. You will be responsible for maintaining the health of workstations, peripherals and related software in a mixed workgroup and domain environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot Windows 7/10 operating systems and Microsoft Office suites (2007‑2022, O365).
• Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals, both onsite and remotely using AnyDesk, TeamViewer or VNC.
• Diagnose and replace hardware components such as RAM, HDD, SMPS and motherboards.
• Install and troubleshoot applications, antivirus solutions and resolve malware/virus incidents.
• Configure Microsoft Outlook, troubleshoot email issues and manage basic networking (LAN/Wi‑Fi/IP configuration).
• Maintain IT asset inventory and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support Active Directory tasks including user creation, password resets and access troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Graduate in IT or relevant IT certification.
• Experience handling desktop support for 20‑50 users.
• Good written and spoken English and Hindi.
• Strong communication skills and prompt user response.
