Design Engineer – UPVC Windows & Doors

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in UPVC windows and doors to join our engineering team. The role involves creating detailed designs, performing structural calculations and supporting the production process from quotation to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Generate quotations and release production orders using EVA ERP after validating Bills of Materials and cost estimates.
• Perform wind load calculations in accordance with IS 875 Part 3, including design pressure, moment of inertia and structural design.
• Prepare technical and CTQ drawings with AutoCAD.
• Develop 3‑D assembly models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Produce technical catalogues, fabrication manuals, installation reports and other engineering documentation.
• Create accurate Bills of Materials and cutting lists to optimise material utilisation and minimise waste.
• Conduct value‑engineering studies to optimise quotations while maintaining quality and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in design engineering for UPVC windows and doors.
• Strong knowledge of wind load calculation standards (IS 875 Part 3).
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and drawings.
• Attention to detail in BOM creation and material optimisation.
