About the role
Innomotics is seeking a Design Engineer to support the development of motors and large drive systems. Based in Mumbai, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate customer requirements into detailed designs and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain Bills of Material using SAP MM.
- Generate detailed mechanical drawings with AutoCAD.
- Perform shaft calculations to verify suitability under load.
- Select appropriate bearings based on load and operating conditions.
- Coordinate with sales to address urgent customer requests.
- Review drawings against relevant standards and define required tolerances.
- Collaborate with shop‑floor and engineering teams to resolve daily technical issues.
Required profile
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in motor design.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP MM.
- Strong knowledge of castings, forgings and rolled steel.
- Comprehensive understanding of dimensional tolerancing.
