About the role
Alghanim Industries is seeking a Design Engineer to develop and optimise pre‑engineered steel structures. The role involves creating detailed designs, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse and design pre‑engineered steel buildings/structures using STAAD.Pro.
- Prepare design sketches, calculations and connection designs for structural/PEB buildings.
- Estimate material quantities and check approval drawings.
- Collaborate with architects to interpret drawings and meet customer requirements.
Required profile
- 23‑35 years old with 4‑8 years of experience in steel/RCC design, preferably in PEB companies or consultancies.
- Thorough knowledge of Indian Standards, AISC, MBMA and related codes.
- Strong communication skills and a hard‑working, dedicated attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural analysis.
- Advanced AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Competence with MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Indian Standards, AISC and MBMA specifications.
