Design Engineer – Industrial Systems

About the role

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to lead the development of structural support systems, special components, and application‑based engineering solutions for industrial special‑purpose projects. The role works closely with production, project execution, and site teams to deliver manufacturable, optimized designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop structural support systems, special components, and application‑specific engineering systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
• Conduct engineering and load calculations, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing, and site installation support.
• Support production by resolving fabrication issues and optimizing drawings for manufacturability.
• Review site measurements, collaborate with installation teams, and provide technical assistance during commissioning.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design, or special‑purpose engineering systems.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, compliant designs within project timelines.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem‑solving and coordination skills.
