Design Engineer – Generator CAD Specialist

About the role

Rehlko is seeking a Design Engineer to provide CAD design support for generator projects. You will work closely with business units to translate requirements into detailed designs, manage project timelines, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and analyze project requests, estimate scope, timelines, and specific requirements.
• Plan and develop solutions for large‑scale projects and independently handle smaller assignments.
• Execute SPD tasks and projects as required.
• Maintain product knowledge of generators and related components.
• Utilize CAD tools, primarily Creo, to create and modify designs.
• Work with PLM systems, preferably Windchill, for data management and version control.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CAD design for mechanical or generator systems.
• Ability to manage projects both individually and within a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Familiarity with PLM and data‑management workflows.

• Creo (including Creo Illustrate)
• General CAD proficiency
• Windchill or similar PLM system
