Design Coordinator (Draftsman) for Hotel Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Design Coordinator (Draftsman) to join our project team and support the design and development phase of hotel construction projects. The role involves preparing detailed architectural, interior and municipal submission drawings and ensuring design specifications are accurately represented.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural, interior, municipal and structural drawings using CAD software, turning conceptual sketches into full working (GFC) drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, MEP and structural teams to incorporate design changes and maintain coordination.
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain organized records of drawing revisions and project documentation, including as‑built drawings.
• Conduct quality checks, review feedback and revise drawings accordingly.
• Perform site visits to verify design implementation and assist in resolving design‑related issues.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in commercial, large‑scale residential, hospitality or hotel construction.
• Experience with MEP coordinated drawings and creation of as‑built drawings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, good understanding of building materials, construction methods and codes.
• Effective communication and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
