Deputy Manager – Maintenance

About the role

The Deputy Manager – Maintenance will lead maintenance activities across both Greenfield and Brownfield projects, ensuring equipment reliability and optimal plant performance. This role combines hands‑on technical oversight with strategic improvement of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance for Greenfield and Brownfield sites, guaranteeing equipment and facility uptime.
• Implement and continuously improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) initiatives to boost productivity.
• Manage the maintenance module of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including data entry, database configuration and reporting.
• Coordinate rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Supervise utility equipment maintenance and control Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and SCADA systems.
• Drive Kaizen‑based continuous improvement projects within the maintenance department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP maintenance modules and Enterprise Reporting Systems.
• Knowledge of Kaizen principles and ability to lead improvement initiatives.
• Possession of an EB licence or equivalent plant‑maintenance certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
