Deputy Manager – Key User Manager for Large Power Tool Users

About the role

Bosch is seeking a Deputy Manager to act as the Key User Manager for large power‑tool users in the Chennai region. You will be responsible for driving sales growth of Bosch’s complete power‑tool portfolio among construction, industrial metal‑fabrication and assembly customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Bosch power‑tools business within the assigned geographic area.
• Manage relationships with key users, primarily in construction and industrial sectors.
• Increase Bosch’s share of wallet across tools, accessories, spares and consumables.
• Provide tailored solutions and introduce new products to customers.
• Visit users in clusters, conduct product trials and organise user meetings.
• Utilise digital tools and project data to convert leads into sales.
• Maintain user contact data and establish channel relationships.
• Collaborate with Business Units to meet business requirements.
• Monitor competitor activities and product offerings.
• Report ground‑level demand and solution needs to the Zone Manager.
• Work closely with Bosch PT and broader Bosch teams to maximise sales.

Required profile

• BE degree with an MBA.
• 6‑8 years of experience in customer sales.
• Strong knowledge of construction, metal‑fabrication or manufacturing industries.
• Technical sales competence with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills across all hierarchy levels.
• Good market knowledge of the assigned area.
• Customer‑centric selling approach and channel management experience.
