Delivery Executive (1 yr experience)

About the role

We are seeking a responsible Delivery Executive to ensure safe and timely delivery of products to customers in the Chennai area. The role requires good knowledge of local routes and the ability to handle delivery documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver products and materials to customers and designated locations safely and on time.
• Collect and verify delivery documents, invoices, and challans, and obtain customer signatures.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to schedule and track deliveries.
• Maintain daily delivery records and report any delays, damages, or issues to the supervisor.
• Collect payments from customers where applicable and submit them to the relevant department.
• Keep the assigned vehicle in good condition, performing routine checks and reporting maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in delivery, logistics, or a similar role.
• Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
• Good knowledge of local routes and locations in Chennai.
• Basic communication and customer‑handling skills.
• Ability to use smartphones, GPS, and navigation applications for route planning.
• Willingness to travel locally as required.
