Data Scientist – Generative AI Specialist

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a Data Scientist with deep expertise in Generative AI to drive innovative solutions for our customers. You will work on cutting‑edge large language models, prompt engineering, and AI‑powered products that solve real business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using both open‑source (Llama, Gemma, Mixtral) and closed‑source LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini).
• Perform data collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis to feed AI models.
• Build statistical and machine‑learning models for trend detection, classification, and forecasting.
• Develop supervised and unsupervised models, as well as deep‑learning architectures for computer‑vision and NLP tasks.
• Implement prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine‑tuning techniques (PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA).
• Integrate vector databases such as Pinecone and Qdrant for efficient similarity search.
• Lead projects end‑to‑end, providing technical direction and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into AI solutions.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Generative AI specialist.
• Proven track record delivering GenAI projects and fine‑tuning large language models.
• Strong ability to understand business needs and propose AI‑driven solutions.
• Independent project ownership with leadership and communication skills.
