About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the GBS Commercial team at AB InBev GCC in Bangalore. In this role you will analyze large volumes of raw data, discover patterns and build data products that deliver valuable business insights for operations, finance, people and technology.

Key responsibilities

Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
Preprocess structured and unstructured data and analyze it to discover trends and patterns.
Build predictive models and machine‑learning algorithms, including ensemble modeling.
Present findings using data visualization techniques and propose solutions to business challenges.
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

Required profile

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; graduate degree in Data Science preferred.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst with data mining expertise.

Required skills

Proficiency in R, SQL and Python.
Familiarity with Scala, Java or C++.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI.
Knowledge of data frameworks like Hadoop.
