Data Scientist – AI Solutions for Construction

About the role

vConstruct is building AI‑powered solutions for the construction industry. As a Data Scientist you will partner with business stakeholders, AI engineers and domain experts to turn data into actionable insights and intelligent products that improve safety, quality and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, trends and business opportunities.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and data preparation.
• Develop, evaluate and optimise machine‑learning models for prediction, classification, clustering and forecasting.
• Apply statistical techniques and design experiments to validate model performance and drive business impact.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Engineers and domain experts to integrate models into scalable AI solutions.
• Document methodologies, model performance and key findings.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience in Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, linear algebra and calculus as applied to machine learning.
• Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and scalable data‑driven solutions.
• Experience working with AI engineers and domain experts in a cross‑functional environment.
