Data Scientist (1-2 years experience)

About the role

Trailytics is seeking a passionate Data Scientist with 1‑2 years of experience to join its AI and analytics team in Bhopal. You will work on end‑to‑end machine‑learning projects that help consumer brands make smarter decisions across eCommerce, supply chain, and market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Build, train, and optimize machine‑learning models for business use cases such as forecasting, classification, and recommendation systems.
• Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation on large, multi‑source datasets.
• Develop and deploy Python‑based data‑science solutions, integrating them with APIs and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Experiment with new algorithms and stay updated on AI/ML advancements.
• Document methodologies, findings, and model performance metrics.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields; Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 institute preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, quick learner, and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ownership of projects.

Required skills

• TensorFlow or PyTorch
• SQL and database concepts
• Experience with Flask, FastAPI or Docker (preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – a plus
