Data Governance Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to work closely with data stewards and business stakeholders. In this role you will help define and maintain critical data assets, ensuring they are well‑documented and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to analyse key Critical Data Elements and build comprehensive data dictionaries.
• Guide stakeholders in identifying Critical Business Terms and map them to the enterprise business glossary and data‑flow documentation.
• Support the Data Quality Team by linking business and data‑quality rules to the appropriate technical metadata.
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of data‑governance artefacts that promote consistency and trust across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience working on data‑governance, data‑quality or data‑management projects.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and business audiences.
• Experience collaborating with data stewards, business analysts, or similar roles.

Required skills

• Understanding of data‑governance concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with building data dictionaries and business glossaries.
