Data Entry Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position is for a Data Entry Specialist supporting a growing US‑based company. You will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining business data while working independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update data in internal systems, spreadsheets, or databases.
• Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting.
• Maintain organized digital records for easy access.
• Communicate with team members to clarify unclear or missing information.
• Perform basic reconciliation of entries to ensure accuracy.
• Meet daily or weekly data‑entry targets and quality standards.
• Support additional administrative or clerical tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role.
• High typing speed (ideally 50+ WPM) with excellent accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Comfortable working partially or fully in U.S. time zones.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using data‑entry software tools.
