Data Engineer

About the role

NovintiX is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and architectures focused on supply‑chain data such as inventory, shipping and procurement. You will work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment delivering data‑driven solutions that enable predictive analytics and high data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for supply‑chain data.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security across all systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analytics requirements and support predictive models (demand forecasting, optimization).
• Build data visualisation solutions using Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense.
• Integrate data from ERP, PLM and other enterprise systems and develop APIs for seamless exchange.
• Work closely with supply‑chain, logistics and IT teams, communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in Agile, fast‑moving teams.

• Python, Java, SQL, Spark SQL.
• Hadoop, PySpark, NoSQL databases.
• Data‑warehouse and data‑lake architecture.
• Azure (ADF, Databricks) and AWS services.
• Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense.
• API development and integration with ERP/PLM systems.
