Data Engineer – AI & Power BI

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a focus on AI and Power BI to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and visualisation solutions for our global software technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks.
• Write efficient PySpark and Python scripts for large‑scale data processing.
• Implement data models, transformations and CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Create reusable data‑engineering frameworks, libraries and templates for ingestion, transformation, validation and publishing.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and performance across all pipelines.
• Design, develop, test and deploy Power BI scripts, dashboards and reports.
• Integrate Power BI visualisations into applications and collaborate with reliability engineers.
• Use DAX expressions and Power Query to optimise Power BI solutions.
• Apply Azure cloud data‑engineering tools and support downstream analytics, reporting and testing teams.
• Participate in validation test analysis, interface development for measurement/simulation, and test‑automation tool maintenance.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably with Databricks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.
• Strong understanding of data‑lifecycle management, data modelling and dashboarding concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, PySpark and large‑scale data processing.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data‑engineering services.
• Basic knowledge of electronics or industrial validation systems is a plus.
