Data Engineer – AI & Power BI (Databricks, PySpark)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a focus on AI and analytics to join our Bangalore team. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and visualisation solutions that power critical business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and Python.
• Implement data models, transformations and CI/CD automation for reliable data delivery.
• Create reusable data‑engineering frameworks, libraries and templates for ingestion, validation and publishing.
• Design, develop and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards and DAX‑driven visualisations.
• Integrate Power BI outputs into applications to enhance business capabilities.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and performance across all pipelines.
• Collaborate with reliability engineers and downstream analytics, reporting and testing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Hands‑on experience building data pipelines with Databricks.
• Solid understanding of data‑lifecycle management, data modelling and dashboarding concepts.
