Data Consultant – Critical Data Elements & Data Quality

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant to work closely with data stewards and business stakeholders in order to strengthen our enterprise data governance framework. The role focuses on analysing critical data elements, creating comprehensive data dictionaries, and ensuring that business terminology is accurately captured in the corporate glossary and data flow documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to analyse key Critical Data Elements.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries that document data definitions, lineage and usage.
• Guide stakeholders in identifying Critical Business Terms and map them to the enterprise business glossary.
• Document data flow and ensure alignment with business processes.
• Support the Data Quality Team by linking business and data‑quality rules to the appropriate technical metadata.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with data stewards and business stakeholders.
• Experience in documenting data definitions, business terms and data flow information.
• Understanding of data quality concepts and the relationship between business rules and technical metadata.
