Data Center Technician (DCO) – Data Center Operations

About the role

Join the Data Center Operations team at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) and help keep the AWS global infrastructure running smoothly. You will work on the maintenance and upkeep of data‑center hardware, ensuring high availability and performance for AWS customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and de‑install server racks and related hardware components.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, networking and power equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve emergent incidents that affect operational stability.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Process and close trouble tickets within defined SLAs using the assigned workflow.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems in a data‑center environment.
• Solid understanding of data‑center hardware and networking components.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal engineering teams and external service partners.
• Willingness to follow safety and security procedures while working onsite.
