Data Center Technician (DCO) – Data Center Operations

About the role

Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is seeking a Data Center Technician to join its Data Center Operations (DCO) team. You will work on the maintenance and upkeep of AWS global infrastructure, ensuring servers, storage, networking, power and cooling equipment operate reliably for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure server racks and related hardware components.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, networking gear and other data‑center equipment.
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues, responding to emergent situations that affect operational stability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Manage and resolve assigned trouble tickets within defined SLAs using a directed workflow.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in data‑center operations or a similar technical environment.
• Familiarity with Linux‑based systems and hardware engineering concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional internal and external stakeholders.
