Data Center Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is seeking a Data Center Technician to join its Data Center Operations (DCO) team. You will work on the maintenance and upkeep of AWS global infrastructure, ensuring servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems operate reliably for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server racks and related hardware components.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, networking gear, and other data‑center equipment.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent incidents affecting operational stability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Manage and resolve trouble tickets within defined SLAs using a directed workflow.

Required profile

• Strong interest in data‑center technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
