Data Center System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Data Center System Administrator to join Lenovo’s Gujarat team. The role focuses on installing, supporting and maintaining GPU‑enabled infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for customer clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cluster health, respond to alerts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Debug hardware and system software issues, including break‑fix and component replacement.
• Roll out and upgrade software packages, firmware and the latest Best‑Recipe versions as defined by the Lenovo Scalable Infrastructure team.
• Serve as the single point of contact for customers, participating in technical and business review meetings and coordinating maintenance windows.
• Report third‑party issues on behalf of customers and track progress to resolution.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with GPU infrastructure installation and support.
• Strong background in hardware and system software debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting servers, storage and networking in a data‑center environment.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for monitoring and administration.
