Data Center System Administrator – GPU Infrastructure

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Data Center System Administrator to join its team in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The role focuses on the installation, support, and optimisation of GPU‑enabled infrastructure within Lenovo's data centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cluster health and performance, responding to alerts and ensuring high availability.
• Debug hardware and system software issues, including break‑fix and component replacement.
• Roll out and upgrade software packages, firmware, and operating system versions following Lenovo Scalable Infrastructure best‑recipe guidelines.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and act as the single point of contact for customers during technical review and business review meetings.
• Document issues, report third‑party problems, and follow up on resolutions on behalf of customers.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with GPU infrastructure installation and support.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for monitoring and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, storage, networking, and server components.
• Proactive attitude toward preventive maintenance and data availability.
