Data & Analytics Associate – GDC

About the role

PwC is looking for a Data & Analytics Associate to join its Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Kolkata. In this role you will help clients unlock enterprise insights through modern data analytics, business intelligence and data management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to solve complex business problems from strategy through execution.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and share knowledge across the team.
• Identify improvement opportunities and suggest actionable solutions.
• Handle, manipulate and analyse data responsibly while adhering to risk and compliance standards.
• Stay current with developments in data analytics and related technologies.
• Communicate findings clearly in both verbal and written formats.
• Build and maintain internal and external networks and uphold PwC’s code of ethics.

Required profile

• Associate‑level professional with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and ethical conduct.

Required skills

• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of Hive and ANSI SQL relational databases.
• Proficiency with Application DevOps tools such as Git and CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins or GitLab).
• Ability to produce project architecture documentation, user manuals and hand‑off guides.
• Understanding of cloud migration processes.
